Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known as the lead actor in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to explore the world of acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. He has been in movies and on television, but it was his character on the small screen that earned him fame as well as a large fan base. The ability of his characters to appear on both sides of law has attracted the attention of viewers. He portrayed the role of a serial killer in his first television series project however he later went on play the role as an NYPD detective.
